I rarely write reviews but this time it’s necessary. Anyone who wants to control the non stop mind chatter will be able to do it with this book. In simple but effective ways the author guides the reader on how to master mindful self awareness. Every chapter has simple exercises that help you train your self awareness effectively. You won’t regret buying this book!

Motivated me to live my life in a more preset and purposeful way. Easy to read and simple exercises that changed my life. Which is saying a lot since I read a lot of "life changing" books. Thank you Matt Tenney for writing this book. Hope many more read it and practice mindful self-awareness.

An excellent book that presents both the principles and practices of mindfulness. I loved how Matt wove his personal story into his teachings. He provides a step by step guide into progressively deeper experiences of the freedom and peace that comes in liberating awareness from the prison of overthinking.

I enjoyed Matt Tenney's book "Inspire Greatness" and was excited to read (listen to) his newest offering. Having the author read their own work can be a gamble, one that fortunately succeeded here! While listening to the author, Matt, read his own words it is easy to connect with his message and the tools he offers in each chapter. He presents his story with candor and humor, connecting with the reader through his direct and authentic voice. This book, like his last one, is full of useful exercises and free resources- helping the reader gently transition into the world of mindfulness and self-awareness. Thank you for helping me find multiple exercises that work for me!
